  21. - THIS IS A GAMMA UPDATE VERSION FINAL VERSION WILL ARRIVE SOON.Read the

  23. - Well the news of Ariel no longer developing KuangEleven was really sad
  24.   but people must move on.
  25. - Ariel asked me to take over the development, but it was to big of a job
  26.   for only me to do, as learning all the things KuangEleven could do 
  27.   would take me years. So a few KuangEleven Enthusist took over the 
  28.   project under ACS (Amiga Coding Syndicate).
  29. - To install the update, have AmIRC & KuangEleven 3.0 Gamma(17) running

  33. Whats new in this version

  36. This new version delivers 4 months work of by ACS, Amiga Coding Syndicate.
  37. I'm sure the new features will be enjoyed.  We have great new features 
  38. and most importantly, more SPEED! We use all available methods to sqweez 
  39. every bit of performance from AmIRC.

  41. So what new features does this version has to offer?

  43. Some original new features :
  44. - The Kuang Eleven API,rexxkuang11.library to be used from AREXX
  45.   scripts offers text styles,userlist and much more!
  46.   Thanks go to KingGuppy for writing this excellent software that
  47.   also accelerates Kuang Eleven!
  48. - Easier requesting of XDCC packs, auto-gets the request.
  49.   Now uses lanky's XDCCGET.
  50. - Updated the AwayResons 
  51. - Added XDCC ban flag (n)
  52. - Some bugs fixed in the GUI.

  81. As I know many have waited on Kuang Eleven 3.0 Gold, but since Ariel has
  82. left we had to learn, and fix the few problem from the last relase, and 
  83. make sure the new features we added are working ok.

  85. RexxKuang11.library - has been greatly improved, with needed rexx functions
  86.                       to make KuangEleven faster and better
  87.  
  88. Auto Update- allows for updating automaticly, and backups the files to be 
  89.              replaced.

  91. AmiHunter - has been greatly improved with the new rexxkuang11.library 
  92.             download.

  94. Alias plugins -allows coders to define Alias instead having the user 
  95.               config Aliases.

  100. Channel Flags - Allow flags to work only in certain channels
  101. New GUI - possilbe a C GUI to make it faster

  106. Installation
  107. ============

  109. Download the archive
  110. Copy it somewhere on your drive, but NOT the AmIRC directory!
  111. Extract the archive by doing
  112. lha x KuangEleven3Gm25.lha
  113. Now simply double click the icon "KuangEleven3Gm25Instal"
  114.

  116. TroubleShooting
  117. ===============

  119. If for some reason you feel you are not recieving the update files
  120. type 
  121.  
  122. /update force
  123.  
  124. and this will delete the last.upd file and It will check all the 
  125. files that have been updated and on the server
  126. against what you have installed, and install what is needed.
